Amberley Brooks - The Big One!! White tailed sea eagle
A juvenile white tailed sea eagle visiting Sussex in December 2010!! You may not believe it but here is the evidence.
The eagle could be seen from The Sportsman at Amberley a great place to eat and drink overlooking Amberley Brooks

Barn Owls on the Isle of Mull
Barn owls are very scarce on the island but one cloudy evening in May we were lucky enough to watch and photograph one of these beautiful birds hunting.

Bewl Water, Kent - Great Crested Grebes

Cornwall 2010

Farne Islands

Seal pup rescue at Lizard Point, Cornwall
A new born seal pup was rescued on a public beach when two young girls alerted their parents to it's plight.The Polpeor Cafe and National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek all came to it's aid.Visit the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek

Short Eared Owls 2012
These normally elusive large owls can be seen readily at several places in Sussex on winter afternoons hunting for small mammals.

Starlings - Brighton
The starlings put on an amazing display every evening as they come in to roost on the the two piers at Brighton. It is particularly spectacular from October to February.For more photos: View the Gallery.
Sunsets
We love our Sunsets and have taken pictures all over the South of the County, but Worthing seems to be especially good. November always seems to have the best and brightest colours; one reason suppose to look forward to the onset of Winter.For more photos: View the Gallery.

Sussex
On sunny and cloudy days in Sussex we always have our cameras to hand and these are some of the results. Kites in Sussex!!!In winter always looking for the warm tearoom !!!!

Swans
We are always taking pictures of Swans, on the river at Arundel , the nature reserve at Warham nr Horsham, on the lagoon at Shoreham and at the Swanary at Abbotsbury. All of these places are beautiful places to visit as well as the Arundel Wetlands Trust; try the new boat trip or watch in the warm whilst enjoying a cream tea from the Cafe. Waders

White-Tailed Sea Eagles
